It is over. I no longer work at the pickle factory. A good thing in a way, a bad in another. I found out today that all the seasonal workers are getting laid off in 2 weeks, If I had known that, I probably would have stayed for 2 more weeks, but Oh well. Nothing really much else to say.

getting better
So things are starting to look up a bit in some ways. My last day as line leader was today, I guess im just not made out for that kind of work. The kind that, uncontroable things happen, and you get yelled at and blamed for everything even if its not your fault. So one more week, and I am gone! I dont have to work there anymore! Now I just have to find another job. Hopefully that will happen sooner then later, Since I would love to go to school in January.

depressed
Why is the whole world depressed? Why is the whole world angry? Why do I care?
I wish I could say one thing to your right now, but I can't. Why do people get jealous? Why am I all a sudden?
Why arnt you talking to me? Why am I not hearing this? Why is someone else, many others?

Hot Peppers & Sickness is it worth it?
So hot peppers have started at work now, Im wondering to myself if its really worth it? I have to wear a gas mask thingy at work to be able to not die from the peppers, but the mask makes it so I cant breath. I have now been sick for the past few days, coughing and sneezing. I didnt go to young adults this week (I miss you all!)because I felt so blah. Monday I went to Tijiki's birthday party. Sunday school is starting this Sunday, and I'm totally not ready for it. I had a meeting for it on wednesday, which went pretty good. And starting on the 24th I will be making model cars or whichever the kids want to make, so grades 2-5 I beileve. That should be super fun. I have been working at 6 almost all week, thank God I dont have to work at 6 tommorrow, and I will probably get off early tommorrow, which is good, since my sister is down from Ottawa and her birthday is tommorrow. Rick has his birthday tommorrow too, I should email him.

randon ramblings
well I havnt blogged in a few days. I have been pretty busy I guess. I cant really remember anything I did, that was overly exciting. EXCEPT for the fact that Paul and I won a canoe! Yesturday we found out, I am pretty excited about that, I'm hoping we can bring it out soon, and the weather will still be good.
my good friend tijiki is back from toronto and in cambridge, I was hoping to hang with her tonight, but I dont know where she is. So far on this lovely saturday I have worked, and when I got home had a nap.
and Kyle is offically gone today will be his first full day in New York, he came out to young adults on thursday,it was good to see him one last time.
I am starting to really not like my boss, today I was talking to him, and I stepped into being a line leader, put up with alot of nastiness from the people on the line, and now to him I am worth nothing, he would be fine to get rid of me in a second. It really bothers me. All of his employees he treats that way. I just never overly noticed it alot, until today. So It will be job hunting soon. Im suppose to get laid off anyways, anyone know of any places hiring? Im really smart:)

comment spam
so here I come to check my blog, and look I have 4 comments that I havnt seen, and 2 of them, have to be comment spam. So now I changed my setting so that, you have to do a word thing when you post, which sucks for the people who are actually real that are going to post on my blog. so now I have to figure out how to delete them. thanks to paul and lori for actually commenting on my blog.
I stayed home from work sick today, im feeling better, I slept until 9, which is way late for me, so I think that is proof enough that I am sick... I just spent a good 20 mins talking to Steve, which was slighty wierd for me. I think I might go for another nap, read some and make a post on the deeper website.

mood swings, sickness and fun
okay so maybe I dont like blogging as much as I thought, since I cant actually think of good things to write or I write something and then I delete it. I dont really know what to type about. I know that right now I am sick and I have had like 100 mood swings. I know that I have a super cute boyfriend who took me out for a pizza date tonight, which didnt really help my sickness, but it was super nice of him.
Yesturday I hung out with my good friend Kyle for the last time in like 4 months. He is off to New York to serve God. The best thing about yesturday, is that we(Kyle, Paul and I) went on a helicopter ride. I had never been on one before. It was pretty darn cool, but at the same time, pretty darn scary. I wish I had a camera with me, but I didnt. It would have been awesome to take some pictures from the helicopter. Also we(Kyle and I) went to the Elora Gore, where we went boogy boarding(sp?). Kyle also had some wonderful things to say about something really special to me, and I will remember them for a long time.
See I guess it wasnt that hard to write something tonight eh?

Spirtual Gifts and Speaking in Tongues....
the debate keeps going with me and Paul on this topic. We keep saying we are going to look into it, and since I am getting sick of the debate, im going to post mine findings right now. He can add to it later.
First off what are spirtual gift? What are spiritual gifts used for? When do we get spirtual gifts? Does everyone get the same gift for example does everyone get to speak in tongues? I also think we need to be using our spiritual gifts (7Therefore you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for our Lord Jesus Christ to be revealed.). Im not even going to go into weather or not spirtual gifts exist today, because Paul and I do beileve that they exist today.
What are Spiritual Gifts(see the verses below), Romans 12:6-8(1); 1 Cor. 12:4-11, 28-30(2); Eph. 4:7-12.(3) I know many people add other gifts that are not listed here in these verses. Im not saying that this is the complete list. I think when we look at the spirtual gifts listed here, they are put into 2 different kinds of gifts Supernatural (Word of Wisdom, Word of Knowledge, Faith, Healing, Miracles, ProphecyDistinguishing of Spirits, Tongues, Interpretation of Tongues,) and non-supernatural (Serving, Teaching, Exhortation, Giving, Leading, Showing mercy)
What are spirtual gifts used for? to build up the church/edifying (Ephesians 4:12).
Does everyone get the same gift for example does everyone get to speak in tongues? No See 1 Cornithians 12 and 1 Cornithians 7:7 I wish that all men were as I am. But each man has his own gift from God; one has this gift, another has that.
Okay so now that I have talked about spiritual gifts, lets look at the spiritual gift of speaking in tongues.
So I think there is 3 different types of speaking in tongues. I also like to add that think speaking in tongues is a spirtual gift that not everyone recieves(5). First is speaking in a heavenly lanuage(6), then speaking in tongues in church and translating(1 Cor 14) and missionary context (evangelism where people (in the New Testament) are presenting the gospel.) (7)
At the moment I dont know what else to add to this, im sure Paul will have something to say.
(1)Romans 12:6We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. 7If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
(2)1 Cor 12:4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
7Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. 8To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, 9to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, 10to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. 11All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.
28And in the church God has appointed first of all apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then workers of miracles, also those having gifts of healing, those able to help others, those with gifts of administration, and those speaking in different kinds of tongues. 29Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Do all work miracles? 30Do all have gifts of healing? Do all speak in tongues? Do all interpret?
(3)Ephesians 4:7But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. 8This is why it says: "When he ascended on high, he led captives in his train and gave gifts to men." 9(What does "he ascended" mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? 10He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) 11It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers, 12to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up 13until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ.
(5)1 Cor 12:29 All are not apostles, are they? All are not prophets, are they? All are not teachers, are they? All are not workers of miracles, are they? 30 All do not have gifts of healings, do they? All do not speak with tongues, do they? All do not interpret, do they?
(6)1 Cor 13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.
(7) Acts 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them. 5Now there were staying in Jerusalem God-fearing Jews from every nation under heaven. 6When they heard this sound, a crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard them speaking in his own language. 7Utterly amazed, they asked: "Are not all these men who are speaking Galileans? 8Then how is it that each of us hears them in his own native language? 9Parthians, Medes and Elamites; residents of Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia, 10Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya near Cyrene; visitors from Rome 11(both Jews and converts to Judaism Cretans and Arabs—we hear them declaring the wonders of God in our own tongues!" 12Amazed and perplexed, they asked one another, "What does this mean?"

testing testing
The start of yet another blog. I love blogging, but you would think from my lack of blogging that I dont actually like blogging. But that is not the case, I love to just write and have no idea who is actually going to read this, who is going to see, my rants and raves about differnet things around me. The funny stories, I forget about, before I talk to someone real. How long will this one last, I guess we will find out.
